Geopark establishment project
May 2020 saw the start of the project to establish Geopark Indalsälven in Ragunda.
January 2022 Geopark Indalsälven was designated Swedish geopark.
October 2022 Ragunda´s varves of clay were selected as one of 100 important geological heritage sites in the world.
17 June 2023 was the official opening of the geopark and the end of the project.
