Geopark Indalsälven har beviljats fortsatt status som Svensk Geopark efter beslut av Sveriges geologiska undersökning (SGU). Yesterday afternoon, we took part in a workshop organised by NCK, the Nordic Centre for Cultural Heritage Education, together with representatives from the Old Östersund Association and Glösa Älgrike. The workshop focused on the use of digital tools when interacting with visitors, and we began by considering the needs and conditions of our organisations. Then we came up with ideas.
Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Jerker Bexelius from Gaaltije, and together we visited several of the geopark’s sites. This meeting marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration to highlight the Sami perspective at the geopark’s visitor sites.
