On September 13 it’s Geology Day and Hiking Day — and what could be better than visiting Döda Fallet then?! From 11 AM to 3 PM we’ll be at the Geopark Indalsälven Visitor Center at Döda Fallet, and the café will have extended opening hours!
Geopark Indalsälven and the libraries in Ragunda Municipality invite you to a day dedicated to geology and hiking. We are open at the visitor centre in Döda fallet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a quiz for young and old with great prizes and an opportunity for children to pan for some glittering gold stones...
The restaurant in Döda fallet will be open extra hours to celebrate the day!
Feel free to take the opportunity to walk the Familjeslingan - a discovery trail for young and old that is approximately 2.5 kilometers long. Along the path there are exciting missions for children. You can look for food for a bat or play hide and seek with small insects. There are also folding signs along the trail. Feel free to check them out as well. On each sign there is a letter to a riddle. Try to remember all the letters. They should become a word you might have heard of. At the end of the family trail, you get the solution to the riddle.
