Saturday, 14 September is Geology Day and Hiking Day! We are open at the Indalsälven Geopark Visitor Centre in Döda Fallet from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Come and see our wonderful exhibition, compete for great prizes and take a walk along the family trail.
We hope you feel inspired to learn a little more about geology, and what could be better than visiting the Indalsälven Geopark visitor centre in Döda fallet and combining it with a walk along the family trail?
At the visitor centre, we will have fun competitions and, of course, cool prizes for children and adults.
Hike in Döda fallet
Not only is it Geology Day on Saturday, 14 August, but we also want to draw attention to Hiking Day! Take the opportunity to go for a walk along the family trail. The trail is about 2.5 kilometres long and offers beautiful views and rest areas along the river. Take your time and discover nature! Unfortunately, large parts of the trail are not accessible for wheelchairs and prams, but it is possible to get down to Döda fallet via our new footbridges! The restaurant is closed for the season, so don't forget to bring a packed lunch.
